Toronto police have launched the identify of a person who died after an altercation final yr and charged a teenage boy with manslaughter in his demise.
In a press launch Wednesday, police recognized the sufferer as 59-year-old Dane Chung of Toronto.
Final September, police responded to a name close to Victoria Park Avenue and Ellesmere Street.
In line with police, an altercation between two teenage boys and Chung happened and resulted within the sufferer being taken to hospital with “life-threatening accidents.”
Chung died in hospital in December, three months after the incident, police stated.
On the time, police charged one 15-year-old boy with aggravated assault and a second 15-year-old boy with assault.
On June 2, police upgraded the cost for the primary boy; he now faces a cost of manslaughter.
