Tyler Schiller scored an emotional victory at this 12 months’s Autumn Carnival because the apprentice jockey claimed his first Group One win whereas guiding Mariamia.
He stated he was “emotional” after his win within the Galaxy race as his father continues to battle with most cancers.
“I used to be very pleased to get a Group One earlier than he handed on,” Mr Schiller advised Sky Information Australia.
“Hopefully, we are able to preserve kicking off and get just a few extra for him.”
