A MAN has been arrested after a woman was allegedly raped in public toilets at a popular seaside resort.
Police in Bournemouth were called on Friday morning and sealed off a large area as crime scene investigators were called in.

A 30-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of rape.
It is the latest in a string of alleged sex assaults, some in the sea, at Bournemouth seafront.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “A detailed investigation has been underway.
“We can now update that a 30-year-old man was arrested this morning, on suspicion of rape and remains in custody.


“Specially trained officers are continuing to support the victim, who has been updated with this development.”
