Sky News host Rita Panahi says US President Joe Biden wants to “lie down” and “we’re all on board with that”.
President Biden was abruptly forced to end a media conference in Hanoi Vietnam on Sunday night local time after he fumbled through questions from journalists.
He had fielded questions on global affairs when he fronted the media before bizarrely ending his response to a reporter with: “I don’t know about you, but I’m going to go to bed”.
“I think he needs a lie-down, but when he’s speaking in full sentences, he says dumb stuff,” Ms Panahi said.
Ms Panahi discussed Mr Biden’s awkward press conference with The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth, who said the performance from the President was an “utter embarrassment” to America.
