1000’s of persons are participating in a rally calling for Welsh independence.
The occasion in Swansea comes after an estimated 10,000 marched in Cardiff and eight,000 in Wrexham final 12 months.
Organisers, pro-independence teams Sure Cymru and AUOB (All Underneath One Banner) Cymru, estimated about 5,000 at Saturday’s march.
Plaid Cymru MP Liz Saville Roberts mentioned it was being staged “in opposition to the injustices we face as a nation – on rail funding, water, and the assaults on peaceable protest”.
She mentioned campaigners had been “marching and protesting loudly – in defiance of Westminster’s assaults on the best to protest – carrying on a proud Welsh custom, not simply of standing tall in opposition to injustice, however rising above it to create one thing higher”.
