Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami talked with a complainant on the phone and warned officials of action if the issue is not resolved.
In a video shared by the chief minister’s office on X on Saturday, he can be seen talking to a complainant, Ashok from Dehradun, on a call during the review meeting of the CM Helpline 1905.
Ashok told the Chief Minister that he had been getting high electricity bills for three months and had filed a complaint. He told the Chief Minister that he had filed the complaint three months ago, but no action had been taken in the matter so far.
Pushkar Singh Dhami asked him if he had got any response to his complaint, to which Ashok said that he had received a call from the sub-divisional officer (SDO) a week after filing the complaint. He said that the SDO told him to install a check-meter so that the consumption of units of electricity could be checked.
The Chief Minister directed the officials present during the meeting to take cognisance of the matter immediately and take action against the concerned officials.
