A prepare carrying hazardous supplies has derailed and caught fireplace in Rockwood, Maine, fireplace officers stated.
Rockwood Fireplace and Rescue posted a photograph of the derailment Saturday on its Fb web page and suggested residents “to remain clear!” It was unclear if there have been accidents within the derailment. The division did not instantly reply to a request for remark.
Rockwood is within the north-central a part of the state in a largely rural space. It is close to Moosehead Lake, one of many largest our bodies of freshwater within the state.

The derailment is the most recent one to plague the rail trade. Federal regulators and members of Congress are urging railroads to do extra to stop derailments after current fiery wrecks involving hazardous chemical substances in Ohio and Minnesota prompted evacuations.
