TRY not to nod off reading this — but the county of Lincolnshire is home to the most boring people in Britain.
Those who live there are more likely to talk about the weather and have no hobbies.
The second biggest county in England, Lincolnshire is known for big skies and, err, the first ever scan of a barcode in 1979.
Famous folk born there include ex-PM Margaret Thatcher, gravity scientist Sir Isaac Newton and the comedian Robert Webb.
An online casino poll asked 2,000 where the “most humdrum” people they had met were from.
The least boring were from the West Midlands.

Eileen Western, 45, of Lincoln, said: “Gravity was discovered here by Sir Isaac Newton and the city of Lincoln used to be home to the tallest man-made structure in the world, until the 16th century that is.
“Oh God, it’s true — we are boring!”
The study found that folk from the West Midlands – like Ozzy Osbourne, Richard Hammond and Julie Walters – were the ‘least boring’ Brits, more likely to take risks, ignore the weather, have a range of hobbies and be ‘unpredictable’.
