Emergency crews are responding after a small plane crashed in Chilliwack, B.C. Friday afternoon.
The manager of the Chilliwack Airport has confirmed the crash to CTV News but said it did not happen on the airport’s property and deferred questions to the RCMP and the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.
CTV News has contacted authorities for more information and this story will be updated when a response is received.
Photos from the scene show a heavy presence of first responders near the Chilliwack Motor Inn and the fin of a small aircraft amid dense foliage.
