Sikh restaurant owner’s family threatened over old post against Khalistanis in UK

Harman Singh has been receiving threats for the past 8 months and no action has been taken by UK Police. He alleges that Khalistani extremists vandalised the car and threw red paint all over it.

A Sikh restaurant owner, who feared Khalistani supporters for being vocal against them, now claims that his car has been vandalised by Khalistani extremists in West London. He further claims that his family has been facing violence and rape threats since May over a social media post where he criticised the Khalistan movement.

Insightuk2, an account of X (formerly known as Twitter) that describes itself as a social movement of British Hindus and Indians, claimed in a video that some unidentified gunmen fired at Harman Singh Kapoor’s car.

Both of Harman Singh’s cars, which were parked on his front lawn at the time, had red paint splattered across their fronts. He alleged that Khalistani supporters were behind this crime.

Harman Singh said, “They came outside my house and threw red paint to symbolise blood as a threat. Later, they destroyed my car’s windscreen. In the past eight months, they have attacked me four times.”

“They revealed my children’s school address as well. But the police are not taking any action on these incidents,” he said.

In addition, he claimed that despite months of alleged family torture, no arrests had been made.

“The Police have made no arrests in what has been months of torture for this family. When will action be taken against these Khalistani extremists who pose a serious law and order threat @metpoliceuk,” INSIGHT UK posted on X.

“Why is the UK government not taking stringent action against an extremist ideology with a history of terrorism.” it added.

The UK police haven’t issued a formal statement about these allegations, though. Notably, the allegations surfaced on the same day when individuals from outside Scotland purposefully interfered with a planned event for the Indian High Commissioner, Vikram Doraiswami.
