After a couple of days of uncertainty, Pakistan soccer federation has confirmed that their group shall be travelling to India to compete within the SAFF Soccer Championship. The Pakistan group is scheduled to play their opener towards hosts India on Wednesday on the Sree Kanteerava Stadium at 7.30 PM IST. Based on media stories, the group was initially purported to fly to India on Sunday morning. However they needed to skip their scheduled flight because of visa points.

The squad was initially anticipated to land in Bengaluru after wrapping up the 4 Nation Cup. They had been in Mauritius for the occasion.

The PFF had accused the nation’s Sports activities Board for delaying the NOC for the group to journey to India, whereas the Board retaliated by saying that the Federation didn’t submit the paperwork in time.
A KSFA official had earlier advised PTI that there was no concern relating to the neighbouring group’s arrival.
“The India MHA (Ministry of House Affairs) is closed on the weekend and their software is with the Indian Embassy in Mauritius. We’re in contact with the AIFF (All India Soccer Federation), who’s in contact with embassy in addition to the Pakistan Soccer Federation (PFF).
