Romania has acquired 18 Bayraktar TB2 fight drones, Türkiye’s
ambassador to Bucharest introduced on Wednesday, because the NATO outpost
seeks to modernize its military, Development stories citing Al

“Romania, a good friend, Black Sea neighbor and NATO ally is including
Bayraktar TB2… to its stock,” Turkish diplomat Ozgur Kivanc
Altan wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for the Romanian protection ministry confirmed the
data to AFP.
Romania’s authorities, which launched the process for the
acquisition of 18 unmanned fight aerial automobiles in September
2022, signed a contract price 321 million {dollars} with Türkiye’s
Baykar firm.
The drones are for use by the nation’s land forces.
