Things are heating up for poor Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, with Crown Prince Frederik’s rumoured mistress continuing to slam allegations of an affair, according to Daily Mail.
The 51-year-old Australian-born royal has been playing host to Spain’s King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia alongside her husband, 55.
The duo showed no emotion during their visit to the Copenhagen’s Centre for Danish Architecture after a Mexican reality star denied magazine allegations of a romance with the Danish Prince.
Rumours started swirling after Spanish magazine Lecturas shared photos of the Prince and well-known socialite Genoveva Casanova, 47, in the country’s capital last week where they attended a Pablo Picasso exhibition at the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum.
Reports suggest that Prince Frederik was attending a private visit to Spain to enjoy art exhibitions, watch flamenco and try new restaurants, and was planning to attend the Picasso exhibit with a mutual friend he shares with Casanova.

The mutual friend allegedly pulled-out last minute, asking the socialist to attend in his place.
The Prince and Casanova were photographed in Madrid, spotted walking through El Retiro Park before heading to El Corral de la Morería to share dinner.
The former daughter-in-law of the billionaire Duchess of Alba told Latino publication Hola! that she “categorically” denies the “malicious” rumours that she and the 55-year-old are romantically involved.

“I categorically deny the statements that suggest a romantic relationship between Prince Frederick and me,” a statement by Casanova read.
“Any statement of this type not only completely lacks the truth but also misrepresents the facts in a malicious manner.
“This is already in the hands of my lawyers, who will take care of the pertinent steps to protect my right to honor, truth and privacy.”
Although born in Mexico, Casanova resides in Spain.
She is known for acting, as well as her appearances on Spanish reality TV shows including The Masked Singer, Celebrity Masterchef and an all-star version of The Chase.
She shares two children with her ex-husband, Spanish author Cayetano Martínez de Irujo, and has been previously linked to Mexican singer Luis Miguel, Gonzalo Vargas Llosa – a Senior Policy Adviser with the UNHCR, and Spain’s former Minister of Justice, José María Michavila.
Her most recent romance was with José Manuel Gayán Pacheco, an agricultural businessman, in 2022.

Prince Frederik, on the other hand, first met his Aussie wife during the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
The then 28-year-old Mary Donaldson was an advertising executive from Tasmania who had no idea the dapper European – whom she had been chatting with for hours – was actually the future king of Denmark.
Then 32-year-old Frederik – down under in support of Denmark’s Olympic sailing team – asked the Tasmanian for her phone number and the rest is history.
Donaldson moved to Denmark in 2001, the couple announced their engagement in 2003 and now share four children – Prince Christian, 18, Princess Isabella, 16, and twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent, 12.
Media in both Denmark and Australia have published speculation about Frederik and Mary’s marriage over the years, but there is nothing to suggest they have been anything but happy.
These recent photos may be the start of a royal unravelling, though.

Princess Mary attended to business as usual, looking her always sophisticated self for their royal visitors.
The mother-of-four donned a forest green suit paired with a white shirt and snakeskin-effect heeled pumps – the perfect picture of elegance.
