PM Modi’s Open Letter To People Of Karnataka Day Before Polls

“The dream of each citizen of Karnataka is my dream,” the PM wrote.

Forward of the Meeting elections in Karnataka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has issued an open letter to the folks of the state.

Karnataka will go to polls on Could 10 with the ruling BJP aiming to interrupt a 38-year-old anti-incumbency issue within the state to win a second consecutive time period. 

“You’ve got all the time showered me with love and affection. It appears like a divine blessing to me,” PM Modi’s letter reads. “In our ‘Azaadi ka Amrit Kaal’, we Indians have aimed to make our beloved nation a developed nation. Karnataka is eager to steer the motion to understand its imaginative and prescient. 

“India is the fifth-largest economic system. Our subsequent intention is to achieve the highest three.  That is potential solely when Karnataka quickly grows to grow to be a $1 trillion economic system.” 

On Saturday, PM Modi held a 26-km roadshow in Bengaluru as a part of the BJP’s aggressive campaigning within the state because it appears to deal with a problem mounted by Congress, led by heavyweights DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah, and the JD(S) fronted by HD Kumaraswamy.

In his letter, the PM highlighted his occasion’s dedication to Karnataka and its folks.

“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Karnataka obtained over Rs 90,000 crore yearly as overseas funding beneath the BJP authorities. It was simply round Rs 30,000 crore beneath the earlier authorities,” the PM wrote. “We wish to make Karnataka No.1 in funding, business and innovation and No.1 in training, employment and entrepreneurship.” 

Out of the 5.2 crore eligible voters in Karnataka 9.17 lakh will vote for the primary time. 

Addressing the considerations relating to rural and concrete infrastructure, transport and jobs, the PM wrote, “The BJP authorities will proceed to work to create next-gen city infrastructure in Karnataka, modernise transport, elevate the standard of life in rural and concrete areas, and create alternatives for girls and youth.”

“The dream of each citizen of Karnataka is my dream,” the PM wrote. 

In a separate video message, PM Modi additionally urged the folks of Karnataka to vote on election day to make the state “No. 1”.

The BJP has fielded 224 candidates, the Congress 223 whereas the JD(S) has fielded 207. Voting for the 224-seat Karnataka Meeting will begin on Could 10 and the counting of the votes will likely be performed on Could 13.
