The PGA Tour has agreed to merge with its rival LIV Golf, a Saudi-backed league based final 12 months, to create one unified, world league the PGA introduced on Tuesday.

The merger will finish all pending litigation between the events, mending a burgeoning break up in males’s skilled golf that has remade the sport within the final 12 months.

The rivals have agreed to create a “new, collectively owned, for-profit entity” that may ship “most pleasure and competitors among the many sport’s finest gamers,” PGA mentioned.

It is a creating story; examine again for updates.
