A man in his 30s was fighting for his life in hospital early Friday after he was struck by a car hours earlier in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville.
Montreal police said the incident occurred at 1:50 a.m. on l’Acadie Blvd. near Sauvé St. The circumstances leading to the incident have yet to be determined.

The man was taken in hospital in critical condition. The driver of the car, who is in their 30s, was taken to hospital to be treated for nervous shock.
A perimeter has been set up at the site of the collision to allow for an investigation of the scene and Sauvé St. is closed between Birnam and Port-Royal Sts. while L’Acadie Blvd. is closed between Port-Royal and Arthur-Lismer Sts.
