Sky News host Paul Murray has delivered two political predictions for 2024 as rumours of the Albanese government calling an early election start to swirl.
“I think the Greens’ vote goes up at this election because of their focus on renters,” Mr Murray said.
“They are at 14 per cent now – the total renting population is 30 per cent.
“The same way they did it with the environment, I think they are going to do with renters.”
Mr Murray also predicted local mayors to run against Western Sydney MPs, including Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen.
“Some of these communities have had enough of these Labor boffins,” he added.
