Two Toronto women have been charged following a gunpoint home invasion.

Toronto Police responded on Nov. 14 to the Charles St. E.-Church St. area.

Police said the victim was inside her residence with a female acquaintance when they heard a knock on the door. Cops said the victim opened the door and a woman, who was known to the acquaintance, forced her way inside, at which time the woman and the acquaintance allegedly began searching the victim’s drawers for valuables.
Cops said the victim tried to intervene when one of the women allegedly produced a handgun.
The two accused took cash from a drawer and fled, cops said.

When suspects were taken into custody, officers said they uncovered a loaded 9-mm semi-automatic handgun.
Tara Finn, and Wendy Tunde Eddy Momah, 22, face numerous charges.
