Over 50 dead, 100 Hospitalized and 23,000 displaced by ethnic Violence in Manipur, India

Ethnic violence in Manipur, India has resulted within the deaths of greater than 55 individuals, with over 260 hospitalized and 23,000 displaced, in response to hospital officers and the Indian military. The violence was triggered by clashes between members of the Kuki and Meitei ethnic teams within the metropolis of Imphal and elsewhere.
