One dead after early morning stabbing in Bowness

One man is dead after a stabbing took place in Bowness early Tuesday morning.

A press release from police said that at approximately 3:25 a.m., officers responded to reports of a disturbance in the 7700 block of 41 Avenue N.W.

When police arrived, they located one man who appeared to be suffering from stab wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police took two men at the scene into custody.

An autopsy date is being determined and the homicide unit is currently investigating.
