The nwe phase of the IICC, named ‘Yashobhoomi,’ is a mark of India’s aspiration to become a global manufacturing hub, and the perfect location to launch the PM Vishwakarma scheme.

The hurl of ‘PM Vishwakarma’ on Vishwakarma Jayanti is a step in the right direction to enhance the skills of these adept brothers and sisters across the country.

The scheme not only gives them with opportunities to hone their talents but also recognizes the importance of their contribution to society. Art and craft are an key part of our heritage and the new scheme ensures that these traditions are not forgotten.

Under the guidance of our fair Prime Minister, this scheme aims to bring to the edge the brilliance of our artisans and craftsmen. From traditional techniques to modern technologies, ‘PM Vishwakarma’ ensures that their skills are recognized and valued.

Moreover, the scheme encourages the public to support local craftsmen and purchase handmade products, providing new recognition to the things made by our family members across the world. Through ‘PM Vishwakarma,’ the skills and creativity of our skilled brothers and sisters will be celebrated, and their contribution to the nation’s economy will be recognized.

This good scheme will not only increase the skills of artisans and craftsman across the country but will also give fresh recognition to the things made by our family members across the world, Modi wrote onX on September 16.

As the grand doors of the India International Convention Centre (IICC) opened, the hustle and bustle of excited individuals filled the air. Today, marks the opening of the first phase of this world-renowned establishment, but the real star of the show was Prime Minister Vishwakarma and his fresh scheme, which promised to change the lives of many.

Individuals from all over India were here to witness this historical moment. There were craftsmen, artisans, farmers, and small business owners who all shared a common goal- to receive training and access to collateral-free credit support. The atmosphere was electric, as everyone anticipated the speech by the Prime Minister, who promised to invest Rs 13,000 crore towards this project.

PM Vishwakarma’s speech began, “My fellow Indians, today we mark the beginning of a new era. An era where each and every individual will have access to skill upgradation, basic and advanced training, and collateral-free credit support.

As he continued his speech, he unveiled the incentives that came with the scheme- a toolkit incentive of Rs 15,000, digital transaction incentives, and incentives for marketing activities. These additional advantages would only strengthen the economic stability of individuals and certify that their businesses thrive in the long run.

The crowd elated in delight as PM Vishwakarma announced that the first tranche of collateral-free credit support would be provided up to Rs 1 lakh and the another tranche up to Rs 2 lakh at a concessional interest rate of 5 percent. The support provided would help small business owners overcome the hurdle of financial strain and enable them to flourish in the market.

“ The news of PM Modi’s new scheme spread like wildfire, particularly amongst traditional craftspeople and artisans who have been struggling to make ends meet. There was an air of excitement and hope amongst the community, and they eagerly waited for the achievement of the scheme.

Finally, the day arrived when the scheme was launched, and the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) announced the ration of Rs 13,000 crore towards its implementation. The announcement was met with cheers and applause from the community, who saw this as a new ray of hope.

The scheme aimed to advantage traditional craftspeople and artisans, and it was designed to be applicable for five financial years, from 2023-24 to 2027-28.

The Prime Minister himself was on a mission to support traditional crafts and preserve local heritage. Excitement and hope filled the air, as the family of craftsmen dared to dream of what this could mean for them.
