The MTV VMAs were packed with incredible performances, record-breaking wins and even it seemed a little bit of drama backstage between Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake.
MTV’s popular award show has seen some serious beef over the years and this year it seemed was less than pleased with Megan and Justin.
Justin, 42, was reunited with bandmates NSYNC for the first time in years and presented the award for Best Pop to winner of the night Taylor Swift.
However, a video of them meeting the WAP rapper backstage appears to show Megan kicking off at the pop icon for a comment he made.
She raises her hand and wags her finger at him after speaking briefly while she got ready to go on stage.
Megan appears to look flustered and a little bit annoyed after the interaction but an insider has cleared up the whole thing – there’s no drama here.
A source told Variety that there was ‘zero fight’ between the two music icons so don’t worry we could still get a Megan x NSYNC track one day.
According to the insider, Justin said: ‘It’s so nice to meet you,’ and she replied: ‘No, no this don’t count, this don’t count. We gotta meet proper.’
Megan’s animated response to seeing the NSYNC boys before quickly returning to her professional mode possibly made it seem like she was mad.

‘It was very cute,’ the source added, which is backed up by bandmate Joey Fatone laughing as the interaction unfolded.
A second eyewitness source shared: ‘Meg loves Justin. She was saying “No, no, no, we’ve never met before.” It was their first time meeting and she was excited.’
Neither have addressed the matter but we don’t think Megan will be tearing up Justin’s heart any time soon.
All love then and the VMAs go unscathed for drama this year – except for the iconic moment Selena Gomez let her dislike of Chris Brown be known.
Megan took home three VMAs this year and performed her new song Bongos with Cardi B to fans’ delight.
The undeniable winner of the evening was Taylor Swift who along with the award presented by NSYNC took home a total of nine wins, including artist of the year.
