NIKKEI 225 decreased 45.10 points or -0.14% to 33,189.04
Shanghai increased 19.68 points or 0.62% to 3,202.06
Hang Seng decreased 17.93 points or -0.09% to 18,916.43
ASX 200 increased 8.40 points or 0.12% to 7,203.30
Kospi increased 14.26 points or 0.56% to 2,564.28
SENSEX increased 803.14 points or 1.26% to 64,718.56
Nifty50 increased 216.95 points or 1.14% to 19,189.05

 

 

The major Asian currency markets had a mixed day today:

AUDUSD increased 0.00554 or 0.84% to 0.66694

US/AMERICAS:

The Supreme Court has ruled that President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness program cannot move forward, which would have resulted in up to $10,000 of federal student loan debt being forgiven for individual borrowers who earned less than $125,000 in either 2020 or 2021 and married couples or heads of households who made less than $250,000 annually in those years. The program has faced opposition from conservatives and members of Biden’s own party. Student loan debt in America has now reached $1.8 trillion.

Bovespa declined 295.65 points or -0.25% to 118087

Crude Oil increased 0.51 USD/BBL or 0.73% to 70.370
Brent increased 0.512 USD/BBL or 0.69% to 75.022
