Manchester United hope to finalise a move for Chelsea star Mason Mount today, with the midfielder currently at the club’s training ground to undergo a medical.

The 24-year-old has already agreed personal terms with United and he’s set to complete a £55m move to Old Trafford.
Mount will become Erik ten Hag’s first signing of the summer and it was the Dutchman’s wish to have Mount through the door before the start of pre-season.
A portion of United’s squad returned to the training ground today to report for the first day of pre-season.
The likes of Donny van de Beek, Lisandro Martinez and Dean Henderson were all spotted making their way in, while Mount arrived with his entourage.
Ten Hag wants his side to hit the ground running this season, hence why he’s got those that weren’t involved in internationals at the end of the campaign back in today.
United travel to Oslo next week to take on Leeds United and the Daily Mail say Mount is in line to make his debut in Norway.
That’s the first of a hectic eight-match pre-season, which will see United play in Norway, Scotland, the United States, the Republic of Ireland and back at Old Trafford.
