Three big-money additions have joined Erik ten Hag’s squad this summer.

Rasmus Højlund, their most expensive signing of the window, joined from Serie A side Atalanta after an impressive breakout season in Italy.

The towering Danish forward netted ten goals in 34 outings for the Nerazzurri last term and is widely considered one of the most promising youngsters on the continent.

Mason Mount departed Chelsea in favour of a move to the Red Devils – an unpopular decision among Blues fans – as another top player to bolster the ranks.

André Onana joined from Inter last month to reunite with his former manager. The United boss worked with Onana during his stint at Ajax and was keen to replace David de Gea with a ball-playing goalkeeper.

Erik ten Hag also finally got his hands on Morocco star Sofyan Amrabat after the club agreed to a loan deal with Serie A outfit Fiorentina that includes an option to make the move permanent come the end of the year for just £20m.

The club also addressed their injury concerns at left-back with the signing of Spurs defender Sergio Reguilon on a season-long loan that includes an option to cancel it in January should Luke Shaw be back to full fitness by then.

Who have Man Utd sold this summer?

United have sold over £50m worth of talent this summer and have managed to offload a lot of fringe players who were likely on pretty hefty wages.

Of course, the big name on this list is 12-year servant David de Gea, who reportedly failed to agree to a new contract. The Spaniard is now a free agent and without a club.

Academy graduate Anthony Elanga brought in a sizable sum of money as he completed a switch to fellow top-flight side Nottingham Forest, whilst Fred, who was signed in 2018 for £47m, made the switch to Turkish Süper Lig side Fenerbahce.

Academy graduate Dean Henderson finally got his permanent move away from Old Trafford, with Crystal Palace reportedly paying £20m to secure his services after his switch to Nottingham Fores never materialised.

Meanwhile, Alex Telles has linked back up with former United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.
