Foundation sticks are all the rage right now and many of our favourite beauty brands have made these portable and multifaceted tubes super convenient and easy to use. Not only are they blendable and easy to apply, they also serve as 3-in-1 foundation, concealer and contour sticks. I was recently received a beauty box by a Canadian brand called Whyz. The trio box contains a foundation, blush and highlight stick and I wanted to put it to the test.

Step 1:  I started with the Triple Duty CC Stick, which comes in 2 shades that are compatible with a range of skin tones. I swiped it on my face and blended it in with a foundation brush, then dabbed a bit more under my eyes to brighten. I like that it offers a light coverage and leaves my skin feeling even, moisturized, dewy and radiant.

Step 2:  Next, I swiped the Touch of Colour Stick onto my cheeks, forehead and jawline and blended it in with a brush and my fingers. This cream product is a 3-in-one blush for eyes and lips — and it blends beautifully.

Step 3: Lastly, I applied the Éclate Stick to the high points of my face (cheek bones, nose and above brow) to highlight my face and create a dewy finish.

Step 4: To define and brighten up my lips, I applied the Jason Wu Honey Fluff Lip Cream in Pink Nude.

The completed look is effortless and natural looking and feels incredible on my skin. It’s also important to note that this boutique brand is female owned and that the products are vegan, cruelty free and paraben and fragrance free.
