Lovely shot from Smith, taking his time to hook backward of square for a single, perfectly in control throughout that shot, just worth a single though.
Khawaja hooks another short ball backward of square and Zak Crawley does well to dive and save a boundary. Just one.
Smith hooks again, but can’t beat the fielder at square leg.
He gets that one behind square though and gets a single.
Pretty easy stuff at the moment from the Aussies, it’s just too easy with this slow-paced bowling to pull and hook.
There’s a stifled appeal as the ball loops up off Khawaja’s shoulder. Very much not out.
