Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday lauded Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud for the Supreme Court’s verdict on the Chandigarh mayoral polls.
Drawing parallels with CJI Chandrachud and God, Kejriwal said, “Whatever happened in the Supreme Court yesterday, it seemed as if Lord Krishna was also present in the Supreme Court yesterday. There was God in the Chief Justice.”
Kejriwal’s remarks came a day after the Supreme Court overturned the results of the Chandigarh mayoral elections, declaring AAP’s candidate Kuldeep Kumar as winner of the election.
