Interpreter recalls moment murder accused spoke freely as police probed for answers
The interpreter – a tall, thin man with glasses – had spoken to Jozef Puska twice that day, at around lunchtime and later again that evening.
It was January 14, 2022, Miroslav Sedlacek told the court. He had been engaged by gardaí to interpret English to Slovakian, and vice versa, while they interviewed Jozef Puska in St James’s Hospital in Dublin.
