Jason Aldean cut his concert short after feeling unwell as a result of heat stroke.
In footage captured by a concertgoer, the 46-year-old country singer was in the middle of performing his 2009 hit Crazy Town when something appeared to be amiss.
In the footage, Jason took some pauses in the middle of the tune, but then turned around and bolted away from his audience.
In a statement released by the venue, they confirmed what happened and reassured fans that he was ok.
‘Yesterday’s Jason Aldean show will be rescheduled for a future date,’ said XFinity Theatre, which is based in Connecticut, USA.
‘We appreciate your patience as we work on rescheduling a new date, as well as the outpouring of well wishes for Jason. A rep has confirmed he is now doing well after experiencing heat stroke during last night’s performance.’
One fan shared a video of the musician when he bolted off the stage, stressing how hot it had been in the room at the time.
‘Poor guy. It was hotter than hell. It was bad enough just standing in the pit,’ they said.
‘I can’t imagine performing in jeans, boots and hat under all those lights in that humidity with no breeze. Hope he’s okay.’
