AN ULTRA-rare supercar used for blockbuster James Bond film has finally been made road-legal after the owner fitted it with new features.
The Jaguar C-X75 was made famous when it appeared in the box-office hit ‘Spectre’ in 2015.
Now, nearly a decade later the spectacular motor is finally road-legal and will make its public debut in April at Bicester Heritage’s Scramble event.
The project was commissioned by a private customer and required more than simply slapping some number plates on it.
Stunt cars are arguably the true stars

It had to be fitted with E-marked glass, a quieter exhaust installed with catalytic converters and genuine wing mirrors to replace the foam dummies used in filming, according to a report in Autocar.
Given it was only ever built to appear on the big screen the fit and finish were not the greatest.
To fix this, the supercar panel gaps were realigned and the quick-release latches used for easy access during filming were ditched.
The extraordinary car was refinished and resprayed in the same metallic orange as it appeared in the film.
Finally, the dampers and ride high were slightly tweaked under the careful supervision of engineering director, Adam Donfrasceso.
Adam said: “Stunt cars are arguably the true stars, bringing to life the legendary scenes that stay with us as car enthusiasts.
“So few actually survive the rigours of filming [that] preservation was key whilst meeting the legislation, and it’s great we can reveal it to the enthusiastic Scramblers.”
The Jaguar C-X75 was originally conceived in 2010 as a concept car but was later discontinued in the following years.
Jaguar’s then-global brand director Adrian Hallmark said it was “the wrong time” to launch the £1million supercar, amid global austerity.
The unnamed collector bought the Ian Callum-designed supercar and commissioned his eponymous design consultancy to convert it for road use.
Wealthy car fans will have to fork out around a whopping £2.5million to purchase the ultra-rare motor.
It comes after Jonothan Ross revealed he has a stunning £140,000 Jaguar in his expensive car collection.
And a car-buying expert shows petrolheads the “regal” motor that once used to drive around a former Prime Minister, that could be yours for under £2,000.
