We enjoyed a starter of vegetable soup served hot around the fire in the riverbed, before moving to the dining area to tuck into perfectly cooked fillet steak, pap and sheba and an assortment of green salads.
There’s nothing quite like enjoying a meal under the stars, as the night chorus of whooping hyenas and trilling scops owls begins.
