A video showing four accused individuals in Bihar pushing a police vehicle for 500 metres after it ran out of fuel has gone viral on social media.
On Sunday, the four accused, who were arrested for consuming alcohol in the dry state of Bihar, were being taken to court.
When the police vehicle came to a halt near Kachahari Chowk in Bhagalpur due to an empty fuel tank, the four men were then instructed by the officers to push the vehicle to the side of the road.
A video capturing this, shows the prisoners with ropes tied around their waist, pushing the vehicle under the guidance of a police officer.
After receiving information about the incident, Assistant Commissioner of Prohibition Pramodit Narayan Singh said that an investigation will be launched into the matter and action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
