The Himachal Pradesh Authorities has determined to not renew or prolong the lease interval of the mission, and intends to take over the mission, it added. The 110 MW Shanan energy mission was envisaged by Col. Battye, the then Chief Engineer of presidency of Punjab within the yr 1922.
