A young Jordanian man named Hamza Al-Fanatessa was shot and killed by a stray bullet fired by a guest at his wedding celebration in the southern Jordanian governorate of Ma’an.

In a statement, the Jordanian Public Security Directorate (PSD) condemned the shooting and vowed to bring the shooter to justice.

The statement said, “We will treat those who shoot guns at weddings as criminals. We have already begun to crack down on this dangerous practice, and we will continue to do so until it is stopped.”
