Forward of Sam Fender’s sold-out gigs at St James’ Park in Newcastle, Greggs’ very first reside music occasion is happening in celebration of the singer.
Being held on the 9 and 10 June, the Grainger Avenue store has been remodeled into Introducing: Fenders Unplugged, the place native artists will play reside music.
Mark Wilson, of band The Peevie Wonders, mentioned: “Clearly, Greggs is an enormous staple half for anybody who’s from Newcastle and past, and for us to do a gig right here, actually, my life’s been made.”
When Fender introduced the gigs, the die-hard Newcastle United fan mentioned it will be “a childhood dream come true” to carry out at his group’s stadium.
