WWE NXT was thrown into chaos this week when the commentary team got confronted in front of the live crowd.
The announce team of Vic Joseph and Hall of Famer Booker T were sat at the desk in an break during Tuesday night’s show when Brooks Jensen appeared from the crowd and started shouting at the pair.
In recent weeks, fans have become concerned when the 22-year-old wrestler’s behaviour online after he suggested he had been released from the company.
Last night, that came to a head as fans tweeted that he had ‘invaded’ the show, and angrily confronted the two commentators while the programme was off-air for a commercial break.
He was dragged away by security and ejected from the building.
When the show returned, Vic noted that things had become ‘disheveled’ during the break, and Booker T added that he hopes ‘that kid’ is okay, but they didn’t explicitly tell viewers at home what had happened.
Fans in the audience shared clips of the tense scenes on social media, and reports have suggested it’s part of a slow burn storyline for Brooks as he voices his frustrations with his on-screen direction.
He hasn’t appeared on TV in recent weeks – his most recent match was a loss to North American Champion Oba Femi in March – and has been increasingly vocal about his position on social media.
In a video shared on X after his intrusion on NXT, Brooks fired back at WWE management, and even hinted at the idea of going to TNA Wrestling, amid reports of a working agreement between the two promotions.

He ranted: ‘I just wanna know why. Why, of all people in the Performance Center, me? For three years I’ve busted my tail. I’ve said yes sir, no sir, yes ma’am, no ma’am.
‘I’ve done all the right things to make it to the top, but for some reason, they just don’t see it in me. When I try to voice my opinion, when I try to ask the questions of why, instead of sitting back and taking it, they throw me out of the building?
‘You know what the best thing about this is now? I can go anywhere I want. Who knows? Maybe I can make an impact.’
The last word of his video is a very clear reference to TNA, which returned to its old initials after years as IMPACT, while the latter is still used for its weekly show.

There is a very real chance Brooks does turn up on the rival company’s programming, with crossovers already happening as current TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace beating Stevie Turner in her NXT debut.
In an unprecedented move, Jordynne will face current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez this weekend at NXT Battleground for the gold.
NXT Battleground airs Sunday, June 9 at 1am on the WWE Network.
