Air India, in an announcement, mentioned that its flight AI858 working on the Pune-Delhi route landed forward of its scheduled time following a minor crack on the plane’s windshield
Full emergency was declared at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Worldwide Airport on Tuesday for a Delhi-bound Air India flight owing to a glitch, a supply mentioned.
The flight had 180 passengers on board.
Air India, in an announcement, mentioned that its flight AI858 working on the Pune-Delhi route landed forward of its scheduled time following a minor crack on the plane’s windshield.
“Full emergency was declared for the Air India Delhi flight from Pune at Indira Gandhi Worldwide airport at 5.44 pm on Tuesday as a result of a glitch. The plane was carrying 180 passengers on board,” the supply mentioned.
“Air India flight AI 858 working Pune-Delhi on April 18 safely landed in Delhi forward of its scheduled arrival time, following a minor crack on the proper (starboard aspect) of the working plane’s windshield,” the airline mentioned.
All passengers and flight crew had been protected, it mentioned.
The plane will endure the required upkeep process, and its windshield can be changed, Air India added.
