A Facebook post purportedly uploaded by Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has claimed responsibility for the Sunday morning firing at Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s home in Bandra, Mumbai.
Anmol, wanted for the murder of Punjabi singer Siddhu Moosewala, termed the firing as the “first and last warning” for Salman Khan. “Henceforth, the bullets will not be fired at the walls or any empty house,” he threatened the actor.

Anmol is suspected to be hiding in Canada, police sources said.
Crime branch officials in Mumbai said they were investigating the Facebook post.
Around 5 in the morning, two unidentified motorcycle-borne men fired five rounds at the Bollywood superstar’s Bandra home and fled the spot.
The Facebook post surfaced around 11.30 am. “We want peace. If the only decision against oppression is war, then so be it. Salman Khan, we have done this to show you the trailer. So that, you get an idea of our capabilities and don’t test us. This is the first and last warning for you. Henceforth, the bullets will not be fired at the walls or any empty house,” read the post written in Hindi.
The post starting with “Om” and “Jai Shri Ram” claimed the assailants had dogs named after Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel, whom it said the actor considered to be gods. It mentioned “Lawrence bishnoi group” and the names of gangsters Goldy Brar, Rohit Godara and Kala Jathari at the end.
Anmol, who has been booked in 18 criminal cases, has served in the Jodhpur jail, from where he was released on bail on October 7, 2021. Anmol had got a passport issued by the regional passport office in Delhi under fake particulars. He was also allegedly involved in an extortion racket being operated by the Bishnoi gang. He has been regularly changing his locations between US and Canada, a policesource had said.
