Former Gujarat MLA and BJP’s co-in-charge for Bihar, Sunil Oza, passed away on Wednesday.
A press statement from Gujarat BJP stated that Oza died of a heart attack in Delhi early on Wednesday morning.

Oza was a two-time MLA from Bhavnagar and had worked as the BJP in-charge of the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency, currently represented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for several years. He had been a resident of Varanasi for the past 10 years.
Most recently, Oza had been working as the co-incharge of Bihar BJP.
Gujarat BJP president C R Paatil has expressed shock at Ozs’s sudden demise.
“The news of the demise of former Gujarat BJP MLA and Bihar BJP co-in-charge Sunilbhai Ojha is very sad. His charismatic personality and strategic acumen will always be remembered. May God grant peace to his departed soul and give strength to the family to bear the pain!! Om Shanti,” he wrote in a message in Gujarat on X (formerly known as Twitter).
