Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) was completely broken at the end of Thursday’s (October 26) Emmerdale as she learnt the Dingles had gone against her wishes and confronted rapist Craig (Ben Addis).
Shortly after Lydia told Sam (James Hooton) about her attack, she told him to not go ‘full Dingle’ on Craig as it would just make the situation worse.
While Sam has stuck by Lydia’s word for now, Mandy (Lisa Riley), Vinny (Bradley Johnson) and Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) took it upon themselves to try and scare Craig tonight, following the news the police dropped the case against him.
The trio arrived at Craig’s office and managed to sneak into a business meeting. While Mandy and Vinny stood by the door, Belle was within the audience, watching Craig address his associates.

When Craig wondered if anyone had any questions, Belle stood up.
As soon as she said the word ‘Dingle’, Craig’s face dropped.
Belle held her own and tried to get Craig to admit he raped Lydia but ultimately, it just made things worse.
While some people left the room – including PA Ruth – Craig’s mask didn’t slip and continued to maintain that he didn’t do anything wrong to Lydia.
Back at the pub, as Lydia was supported by Rhona (Zoe Henry) and Marlon (Mark Charnock), the trio eventually returned.
They were feeling somewhat pleased with themselves, convinced Craig wouldn’t bother Lydia anymore – but he then walked into the pub.

Sam, Mandy and Charity (Emma Atkins) all responded with anger and wanted to hurt Craig. As they hurled insults and Craig threatened to involve the law, Rhona was holding Lydia as she cried, horrified at what was unfolding.
Back at home, after sending Mandy, Belle and Vinny away, Lydia broke down in front of Sam.
She said that his family hadn’t helped her recovery process and wondered just how long the torture is going to go on for.
Breaking down, Lydia then grabbed the dolls house and threw it on the floor, smashing it to pieces.
