I didn’t think we’d actually get a decent thunderstorm again but last night sure proved me wrong—much to Shadow’s chagrin. Sure, he’s a 80-pound plus Malamute with the bravado of a hunter but once the skies go boom he turns into the softest pooch on the planet. Poor guy.

Thankfully, there’s no calls for any thunderstorms in the immediate forecast but there will be rain, and plenty of it. Forecasters are calling for showers to hold strong throughout the day before tapering off overnight. Though, it looks like the rain might resurface tomorrow night.
Overnight temperatures are downright chilly, too, with a chance of frost tonight. Inching ever closer to the season that dare not speak its name…
