Twenty years later and the stage is set again at Commonwealth Stadium. Tends of thousands of us have just one more sleep until what could be another tilt for the ages, or, statistically based on the Edmonton Oilers season thus far, a real faceplant. One idea to keep you warm overnight is that it’s the absolutely surmountable Calgary Flames that will stand between the Oil and victory Sunday.

Another is literally the warmth, as the forecast is calling for a less frigid affair than the first Heritage Classic in 2003. With a projected high of 0C, if anything, the NHL’s refridgeration unit will be put in overdrive.
