Monday’s Drake concert at Rogers Arena in Vancouver has been postponed.

A notification on Live Nation sent out on Monday afternoon says: “Due to unforeseen circumstances with the newly installed scoreboard at Rogers Arena, tonight’s Drake performance will now take place on Wednesday, August 30.”

The postponement came within two hours of the doors opening for the concert.

All tickets for Monday’s show — which was supposed to be the first of two performances of Drake’s ‘It’s All A Blur’ Tour in Vancouver — will be honoured on Wednesday, according to Live Nation.

The concert scheduled for Tuesday is expected to go ahead as planned.

(2/2) Drake was ready and excited to perform. He is looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday and Wednesday. Rogers Arena apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you

Some fans, many of whom travelled into town or waited in line outside the stadium today to score tickets, were understandably upset about the late-breaking news.

Others have been left wondering if they will receive a refund if they are unable to attend Wednesday’s make-up show.

They better offer a refund to the people that can’t stay until Wednesday for their rescheduled show!

According to Live Nation’s web page, refunds for postponed shows “are determined on an event-by-event basis by the event organizer.”

“If the event organizer approves refunds and/or credits, we will send you a notification explaining your options, and you may submit a request for a refund or credit. Alternatively, you may simply keep your ticket(s) to the postponed, rescheduled, or moved event.”

If a show has been postponed for more than 60 days — and no rescheduled dates have been announced — a 30-day window for refunds will open at that time.
