Defence Kidz to become cartoon animation

A book series ‘Defence Kidz’, written by Hayley Ann Boswell, is soon to be released as a cartoon series on YouTube.

Ms Boswell created Defence Kidz to help children understand why Defence Force parents aren’t always home.

“The cartoon we are creating in collaboration with Cheeky Little Media, and they also created ABC’s Kangaroo Beach and Ginger and the Vegesaurs, so they are very much a social impact business,” Ms Boswell told Sky News host Erin Molan.

“We’re looking to launch it on YouTube so that it’s available to all children in Australia and overseas.

“It’s also to educate the community more about defence and veteran issues.”
