He says the household thought “lengthy and onerous” about getting a canine earlier than recognizing the Staffie pup on sale for simply £200.
Vitalijus defined: “Once we noticed him he was actually mushy and leaping round. He captured our hearts.

Vick’s sister Gabriel, 18, witnessed the horror assault.
She mentioned: “Vick got here down the steps quietly and Diesel began barking.

“I began screaming and my stepdad [Vitalijus] and mum ran in.
“What sticks in my mind was my little brother pleading ‘cease, Diesel, cease’.”
Vick’s mum Eugenija, 41, says the entire household is traumatised after the horror mauling.
She defined: “I grabbed Vick and ran to the bed room, locking the door. I used to be making an attempt to calm him down. I put a towel on his head to cease the bleeding. He noticed all of the blood and mentioned, ‘Mummy, am I dying?’.
“Then he requested is [his twin brother] Nick and Gabriel OK. The docs couldn’t consider how Vick saved smiling. He’s my superman.”
