Forging Your Personal Path showcases the work of Cuban artists — each inside Cuba and in exile — who’ve been influential leaders within the latest awakening of the nation’s civil society. Curated by Claudia Genlui and Alfredo Martínez, the exhibition requires embracing a pluralistic Cuban actuality and deconstructing the island’s totalitarian regime to construct bridges of acceptance. It underscores the accountability of Cubans to forge their very own path and to foster a tradition of studying, resistance, and succession.
