Correctional Service Canada (CSC) seized a veritable pharmacy in a package at the perimeter of the Donnacona Institution, a maximum security federal penitentiary.
In a release issued on Friday, CSC reported the package was seized on June 22.

“The contraband and unauthorized items seized included, 382 grams of cannabis concentrates, 24 grams of cannabis wax, 380 grams of hashish, 51 grams of methamphetamine, 106 grams of steroids, 76 grams of tobacco and three cell phones with accessories. The total estimated institutional value of this seizure is $291,360,” CSC noted in the release.
The release did not mention whether any arrests were made or how someone tried to enter package inside the penitentiary.
