Unit bias is a thing. It is why so many people buy shit coins. They think they are getting more value. Also as the value of Bitcoin grows we will need to denominate more and more things in decimal numbers, which is annoying. Satoshis make much more sense as they would be used in day to day purchasing and are easier to use in conversation than decimals.
