A CORONATION Street fan had a fright when watching past episodes of the show by spotting a present-day villain from a rival soap.
Actress Balvinder Sopal is currently playing Suki Panesar, mother of Kheerat Panesar, Jags Panesar, Vinny Panesar and Ash Kaur in EastEnders.

Suki is often found at the centre of trouble with storylines that include the death of her son Jags and pretending she had ovarian cancer.
Although she is currently terrorising residents of Walford, one avid soap watcher was surprised to see her treading the cobbles of Weatherfield.
Watching a legacy episode, the fan spotted Balvinder on the small screen in a police officer’s uniform.
The star played PC Marks in Coronation Street for a grand total of four episodes.
She first appeared in Weatherfield in 2013 for three episodes and popped up again for a single appearance in 2017.
The fan shared a screenshot of the soap actress and said: “Right, so I’m watching old episodes of Corrie and LOOK WHO IT IS.”
One confused fan replied: “Is she the gangster mum who works in the minute mart?”
Another said: “Don’t actors do this though? Play different characters in different shows and films.”
Multiple social media users just tweeted comments like “Suki!” and “Omg it’s Suki.”
Some eagled-eyed spectators also pointed out that she has appeared in numerous soaps, with one commenting: “She was in early Call the Midwife also.”
A second added: “She’s also in Hollyoaks like 2018 I was shook.”
Along with Coronation Street and EastEnders, Balvinder has appeared in Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, Doctors, Call the Midwife and even in an episode of Waterloo Road.
